How To Get Into Shroud's Spectre Divide Closed Beta

The closed beta for Spectre Divide–a competitive 3v3 multiplayer shooter with a unique gameplay hook–is now live, and if you’re looking to jump in, developer Mountaintop Studios has listed two methods to earn a key. The closed beta will be available exclusively on PC via Steam until August 21, and the studio says that if you have played in any of the previous playtests, you’ll automatically have access.The first method for earning closed beta access will be to receive a Spectre Divide drop entry key through an eligible Twitch stream, and once you have it, you’ll need to link your Spectre Divide and Twitch accounts. This route will also unlock three exclusive in-game items in the form of a Bad Intentions spray, the Troublemaker Banner, and the Sinister Smile charm.

Star Wars isn’t sitting out of this year’s D23, and Lucasfilm started off its presentation with a first look at the next Disney+ live-action series: Skeleton Crew. Jude Law came out to the stage before the premiere of the new trailer for the show, which briefly teases his character, a Force user named Jod Na Nawood. Tango Gameworks Saved By PUBG Publisher Krafton, Hi-Fi Rush Rights Also Acquired

Tango Gameworks was closed by Microsoft in May, and many lamented the loss of a studio that had operated for nearly 15 years and produced games like surprise 2023 hit Hi-Fi Rush. Seoul-based publisher Krafton Inc. has saved the day, however, as the firm announced that it has acquired both Tango Gameworks and the Hi-Fi Rush IP from Microsoft.The agreement will allow Tango to “continue developing the Hi-Fi-Rush IP and explore future projects” according to Krafton’s official announcement of the move. The statement also confirms that there will be “no impact” on other Tango projects like The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo, which will remain with Microsoft.

Roblox Banned In Turkey Over "Child Exploitation" Concerns

The government of Turkey has issued a nationwide block on Roblox, a gaming platform popular with children that hosts mostly user-generated content. The ban was instigated due to concerns around alleged child exploitation and inappropriate content.While no explanation was initially given for the ban, an official from the Turkish Directorate of Communications quoted by Turkiye Today (via Dexerto) said that the move was motivated by reported inappropriate sexual content on the platform.
