Even Sega isn’t immune from that, as the company still plans to remove the original Sonic Generations before the remaster is released as part of Sonic x Shadow Generations. But that doesn’t mean the first version of Sonic Generations will be going away for good.Via the official Sonic the Hedgehog account on X, Sega has announced that Sonic Generations will be delisted as a standalone title on September 9. However, in the name of preserving the game in its original form, it will still be available in bundles on Stream and Xbox. Twitch streamer PointCrow is making it a point to prove that his Goldfish is better than most Elden Ring players because his pet fish’s latest accomplishment involved killing the Shadow Of The Erdtree final boss.Shortly after PointCrows fish Tortellini did the impossible, they took to X/Twitter to announce its victory (via Polygon). Tortellini defeated Radahn by using custom software with a machine-learning algorithm that tracked the fish’s movement as it swam in its tank. It’s also worth pointing out that the fish tank was digitally mapped out, and the game would respond based on where Tortellini swam. Speaking on an earnings call, Sony president Hiroki Totoki discussed the Destiny studio’s restructure in greater detail, stating that it came from a desire to “optimize overall studio structure.”Per a report of the call posted to social media, Totoki said that the back-office functions of Bungie will be integrated into other Sony studios, and that the studio’s resources will be focused on Destiny 2 and the Marathon reboot. His comments would seem to indicate that Sony is taking a more-active role in the studio’s direction, making it a more-integrated part of the existing constellation of SIE studios.
